Consistent Teacher Judgement Workshop K-11

The Consistent Teacher Judgement Workshop is designed to enhance teacher understanding of the standards-referenced framework which underpins curriculum development, assessment and reporting in NSW. It will assist with further developing teachers' skills in achieving consistent judgements and grade allocation, as well as empowering school leaders to lead learning within their own school.

The workshop will be delivered in two parts:

• Presentation and discussion focussed on the 'What', 'When', and 'How' of:
• Assessment
• Standards
• Moderation
• Consistency
• Grading
• Hands on activities enabling participants to apply the knowledge they have acquired from the presentation and discussion session and participate in professional dialogue.

Participants will be given access to resources that may be utilised within their own school to refine and enhance school processes and practices.

Completing the Consistent Teacher Judgment Workshop will contribute 3 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing 5.3.2, 6.2.2, 6.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
